Gotta Give Love with SBCASO at Alabang Town Center


San Beda College Alabang Symphony Orchestra (SBCASO) with Manila Philharmonic Orchestra (MPO)  in cooperation with the Alabang Town Center, Rotary Club of Pasay Southeast District 3810 Philippines, PMCM Events Management and Fusion Media PH presents: Gotta Give Love SBCASO – A Pre-Valentine Concert

This event will support the Values and Vocational Skills Program for Boyshome, Manila Boys Town Complex.

The concert is happening on February 10, 2018, starting 6:00pm at Alabang Town Center Main Activity Area, Muntinlupa City.

SBCASO was formerly known as St. Benedict College Band founded by Fr. Manuel P. Maramba OSB in 1997. Through the years the Band was able to stage its first Annual concerts entitled “Finale” at the Insular Life Auditorium in 2007. Going strong with the new programs of the Music and Arts area continues to develop student’s talents and it pushes more towards new repertoires and art form that bring for the musicians and artist of tomorrow imbibed with the core of their curriculum, the Benedictine values. Performances under the baton of Mr. Melvin Rioveros in over 10 years keeps on getting bigger and better. The Annual Music Concerts: A Musical Spectacular, 2014 Music from the heart, 2014 Melodies from the heart Part I and 2015 Melodies of the heart Part II. In 2016, a very successful performance in CCP Main Theatre was staged during the 10th Annual Music Concert.

At present, the Orchestra produces quality musicians and continuously inspires its own members towards pursuing a musical career and being part of the college and professional orchestras including the La Salle Orchestra (DLSU) , Ateneo Blue Symphony (ADMU), Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO) , Rey Casey Concepcion, one of the SBCASO’s first members and alumnus of the school, pursued music as career and became the former principal  viola of the Manila Symphony Orchestra (MSO) and currently the newest member of the world renowned Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO).
