Who could have guessed we’d have the pleasure of energizing our afternoon with a hearty serving of homemade skinless longganiza with two properly cooked sunny side ups, garlic laMVBden rice, and sides, right beside Ruffa Gutierrez on the right and Alice Dixon on the left… Tables.
Who could have guessed also that Jericho Rosales would sit in front of K while she was munching on a properly, differently-styled tender beef tapa with about the same sides as mine. The all-day breakfast was well enjoyed, I’m sure as they exchanged smiles.
Not forgetting to mention Frank Briones was curiously asking what this dish was beside ours in the form of a cast iron skillet filled with tomato pomodoro mixed-in with homemade chorizo baked with 2 eggs, stratcchino and toast topped with salsa verde.
And because we were feeling extra energetic after seeing two long-lost friends, we called in an extra order in the form of truffle mushroom, and spinach scrambled eggs in a bread bowl which tasted as good as it sounded and looked.
